- Deck. 36 cards (6 through A). The bottom of the stock is flipped — its suit is trump.
- Roles. One player attacks; the other defends. Holder of the lowest trump leads.
- Attack. Play any card. After the defender covers, you may "pile on" with another card of any rank already on the table.
- Defend. Cover each attack with a higher card of the same suit, OR any trump (if the attack isn't trump). If you can't, pick up all cards.
- End round. All covered → cards go to the beaten pile, both players refill to 6, roles swap. Defender picked up → attacker keeps the role and refills.
- Lose. When the stock is empty and you still have cards, you're the durak (fool).
